MSC EXCURSIONS

SUMMER 2021

UPDATE MAY 21 ST GOING ASHORE WITH MSC EXCURSIONS

During the cruise, Guests are allowed to disembark from the ship only with a shore excursion organized by MSC Cruises. Therefore any Guest who decides to get off the ship on his own against the above rule shall not be allowed to get back on the ship.

When ashore, Guests are required to strictly adhere to the measures adopted by the Company in the interest of everyone’s health and safety.

This will ensure that the same high standards of cleanliness and sanitation on board are continued ashore.

On every MSC Shore Excursion, we ensure that you can follow the current social distancing guidelines by introducing staggered departures, dedicated gangways and empty spaces in all transfers between groups travelling together as a “social bubble.” We’re increasing cleaning and sanitation on all transfers, with hand sanitizer available and strict protocols for drivers and tour guides.

2 GOING ASHORE WITH MSC EXCURSIONS

Protecting your Health and Safety On every MSC Shore Excursion, Guests can rest assured that every aspect of their time ashore meets the highest standards of health, hygiene and comfort. We ensure that they can follow the current social distancing guidelines through staggered departures, dedicated gangways and selected empty seats on the buses. We’re increasing cleaning and sanitation on all transfers, with hand sanitiser available, strict protocols and health screening for drivers and tour guides.

Independent Arrangements For the health and safety of all our guests, going ashore on your own or tours organised by external operators will not be permitted.

3 NEW RESTART PHASE SHORE EXCURSIONS FAQ

Will I still be able to go ashore, and will you offer shore excursions? • Yes, guests will be able to go ashore, and we will continue to offer shore excursions. For summer, as an added level of protection, guests will be able to enjoy the different destinations the ships visit as part of an organised MSC Cruises shore excursion that will be delivered with the same high standards of health and safety as on board. By taking this decision the Company is able to ensure that every aspect of the guest’s time ashore meets the appropriate standards of health and hygiene from ensuring that transfers are properly sanitised, that tour guides and drivers are wearing PPE through to ensuring there are reserved areas for MSC Cruises guests at attractions. These include: • Staggered departures and dedicated gangways to avoid congestion • Transfers used for excursions will be properly cleaned and sanitised after every use and specific seats will be assigned at the time of booking with seats left between families and groups to allow for social distancing • Tour guides and drivers all following the same, strict protocols to keep guests safe • Hand sanitisers will be available regularly throughout the excursion

Can I go ashore on my own? • For the summer season, going ashore on your own or tours organised by external operators will not be permitted.
