left on the clock but the kick was blocked sending the game into  Frosh vs Switz overtime. September 3

 Varsity vs Milan September 5 The Tigers had the first in overtime and were able to drive it  Frosh @ Taylor into the , but were unable to convert the PAT. The September 6 Knights would get the ball and after another toss up pass were able to get the ball on the goal line and score. The Knights con- verted their PAT making them the victors of the game 14-13.

Taylor Game Preview The second matchup of the season for the Tigers comes against the Taylor Yellow Jackets. The Yellow Jackets haven’t played a game yet but have proven themselves to be a tough team during their two scrimmages against Schroder and Withrow. The meeting will be the fourth time the teams have played since the rivalry was rescheduled in 2011. In that time the Tigers are 2-1 against the Yellow Jackets with their only lose coming last sea- son. This weeks game will also be the home opener for the Tigers 2014 campaign, and will also be part of the Skyline Crosstown Showdown. Along with the Skyline Showdown festivities, First Financial Bank directly across from Dick Meador Stadium will be hold- ing a Pre Game Pep Rally. The Rally will start at 5 and go up until kickoff and will offer food, drinks, games and prizes.

JV and Freshman Results This week both JV and Freshman Tiger Teams had games on Monday night. The JV Ti- gers beat South Dearborn 54-0 while the Freshman Tigers lost to New Palestine 20- 14.

Pee Wee news

1st Grade Tigers Game Recap It was a hard fought victory against Franklin County. Jacob Becker and Kinser Pope both had a rushing touchdown, Kinser's the first . The 1st Grade Tigers also had a passing touchdown from Braxton York to Kinser Pope for a 30 yard score. The defense held strong and kept the opponent out of the endzone for the entire game. Way to go 1st grade Tigers.

2nd Grade Tigers Game Recap The 2nd Grade Tigers had a hard fought battle on Saturday at Franklin County that ended in a 0-0 tie in OT. The offense strug- gled to score for more reasons than just good defense by Frank- lin County. The defense hung in there and was able to com- pletely stop them. Several important tackles were made by Kar- son Mollaun, Landon Bartlett, Noah Knigga, and JP Izzo. Ronyn Williamson added to the defensive help by recovering a . They have a bye this weekend and their next game is September 6th against Milan at the Ludlow Park.

4th Grade Tigers Game Recap Sixteen unanswered points in the second half leading to a Tiger win is the best way to describe the 2014 season opener at Franklin County for the 4th Grade Tigers! After two quarters with a struggling offense, Kyle Heeney #6 came out in the 3rd and 4th quarters like a veteran QB. With a 14 point deficit at half the Tigers came back with a 3rd quarter touchdown by Logan Rohrer #13. That was the play of the game that lit the spark under the Tigers. Payton Roth #1 was a road block all over the field for Franklin County. The Tiger Pride award goes to Waylon Lambert #37 and his con- stant effort to keep the Tigers fired up. The victory was sealed with a fourth quarter touchdown by Logan Rohrer #13, followed by a conversion from Jake Pierce #20. The Fourth Grade Tigers welcome back 17 players from the 2013 season, 6 new players, and 3 returning players after taking the 2013 season off. The players are: Payton Roth #1, A.J. Nelson #2, Kyle Heeney #6, Kameron Brown #7, Aidan Hughes #9, Chase Bradley #11, Logan Rohrer #13, Brennan Bushman #15, Jake Pierce #20, Mavrick Jessee #32, Javier Zazueta #33, Jayson Lyttle #34, Solomon Fisher #35, An- drew Meyers #36, Waylon Lambert #37, Bastian Murray #39, Brandon Chappie #40, Logan Lange #41, Corbin Jacobs #43, Bradyn Howell #53, Carter Crocker #59, Alex Witte #65, Elijah Freeman #75, Joey Chappie #85, Carson Scott #91, Colton Roth #94. 5th Grade Tigers Game Recap Battling the heat and Wildcats our 5th grade Tigers came out on top by a score of 34-20. The offensive line blocked a great game opening holes and sealing the edges for the running backs. were scored by 3 different players Jackson Kasteter & Garret Yoon, each had 1 and Aiden Gilmour ripped off 3 scores. The De- fense played a really good game. The Tigers caused and recovered 3 A.J. Brown, Dayha Patel and Jayce Bohan each scooped one up. These Tigers showed a lot of heart in this game and stepped up to a very tough challenge.
