Five boys played in all these premierships - Jeff White, Ian Leishman, Tom Boon, Rex Leighton and Colin Brown. Noel Telfer was selected for the NSW U14 team in 1960, while Rex Leighton (Capt.) and John Hoogland were selected in the NSW U17 team in 1962. In 1963, Coniston entered its first senior team in the amateur 3rd division. In 2014, Coniston Junior Soccer Club signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Coniston Lions Senior Club to form the Coniston Football Club (Coniston F.C.). The Club has over 400 players including 30 junior teams, an all-age womens team, two over 35’s masters teams, and three teams participating in the District League.
