LAST WEEK *WCC Game; Home games in bold • The Pilots had last weekend off aft er previously dropping a pair of close WCC games on the road. • On Oct. 17 in San Francisco, the Pilots took an early 1-0 lead, USF answered with two goals, Portland ti ed it at 2-2 before the half and the Dons won 3-2 courtesy a PK in the 82nd minute; Michael Escobar scored both of Portland’s goals. • And then on Oct. 19 the Pilots leveled the score 1-1 at Santa Clara in the 86th minute, but the Broncos responded with the game winner not even two minutes later; Eddie Sanchez scored UP’s goal when he put away the rebound off his initi al PK. ABOUT THE PILOTS... • The Pilots had a recent stretch of scoring 11 goals in three games, all wins, which included fi ve goals in back-to-back wins at Saint Mary’s (Oct. 3) and at home vs. Pacifi c (Oct. 5). • Those 10 goals are the most during consecuti ve games since Portland totaled 12 goals in MEN’S SOCCER CONTACT back-to-back wins in 2001. • The fi ve goals scored at Saint Mary’s are also the most scored by the Pilots on the road ADAM LINNMAN since also scoring fi ve during a win at Washington during the 2004 NCAA Playoff s.
