Scott Kinney is currently the Director of the Mobile located in Mobile, . The Mobile Public Library is the largest public library in the state of Alabama serving a population of more than 412,000 residents. Mr. Kinney works with elected officials, library trustees, and the Friends of the Mobile Public Library to provide outstanding library services and programs. The Mobile Public Library achieved the Alabama Library Association’s Gold Standard for public libraries in 2019 and received the “Arty Award” for the library’s contribution to arts and culture. In 2019, the Mobile Public Library had over 134,000 residents attend library programs.

Prior to being named the Director of the Mobile Public Library, Mr. Kinney was the Director of the Sweetwater County Library System located in Green River Wyoming. The SCLS is the largest County Library System (land area served) in the , serving residents over 10,500 square miles. In addition, Mr. Kinney served as the director of the Chadron Public Library in Chadron, Nebraska. Under his leadership, SCLS and CPL developed and implemented programming that provides literacy development for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. CPL also instituted Homebound Services, Adult Summer Reading and created programs to revitalize the library’s teen user base. Scott and his wife Erin (also a librarian) enjoys the outdoors, golfing, hiking, photography and attending local music and/or sports events. Scott and Erin also enjoy spending time with their three dogs Chance, Belle (Great Danes) and Cody (Australian Shepherd).

Lynette Schurdevin's career began as a Library Circulation Supervisor at the Lake Agassiz Regional Library System, Moorhead, MN branch after a 20 year career at Wells Fargo Bank, Minnesota. During her four years at the Moorhead Library she completed her Master's in Library Science from Texas Woman's University. She then moved to Las Cruces, NM to continue her work as Circulation Supervisor and Reference Librarian. In 2010, Lynette was promoted to Library Administrator of the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library in Las Cruces, NM. In 2014, Lynette was hired by the Rio Rancho Public Libraries as the Library Director. During her time in NM, she has been the NM Library Association chapter President, an OCLC delegate, a graduate of the Mountain Plains Library Leadership Institute, and a member of ALA and PLA. Lynette was recently awarded the NM Library Leadership award.

Lynette maintains other professional memberships with the local Chamber of Commerce, the American Association of University Women, and a NM state-wide advocacy group to help shape laws and policies for those living in poverty. Currently, Lynette continues to enjoy her position as Director in Rio Rancho and supporting her library staff in their work in revitalizing the Rio Rancho Public Library community.

Rebecca Wolf is an experienced and passionate leader with expertise in creative problem solving, technology integration, relationship building and confronting difficult situations thoughtfully and rationally. Rebecca has spent over fifteen years leading and looking for ways to engage the community to keep libraries relevant to the people they serve. She firmly believes that libraries can help successfully anchor communities and inspire innovation and connection across multigenerational audiences. Wolf has had the privilege to lead from all levels, from Circulation to ILS management to Directorship. She has successfully integrated and concepted new spaces, created dynamic service models, developed key metrics to measure engagement and had the opportunity to play pivotal leadership roles in the CCS Consortial System including that of President.

Wolf cites her proudest achievement is one that brought stakeholders from all levels of the library team and the community together to create an intergenerational space “The Studio” that would be a catalyst to embrace the library as more than just books. Together with her team, she led the creation of an inspiring environment for creating and learning both through traditional ink and paint to laser engraving. The unique service model invests in our patrons and staff, creating a catalyst for engaging and bridging age groups within our District. When not at the library, Wolf enjoys working to give back to the community by participating in projects such as Kids Against Hunger, Project Warm and mentoring college-bound students to help ensure their success.
