(A central University established by the act of Parliament No. 35 of 1989) Centre for Naga Tribal Language Studies (CNTLS) Campus : Meriema Admission Notice 2018 Post Graduate Diploma in Naga Languages and Cultural Studies (1 Year Course)

The Centre was established in the year 2016 under with its core thrust on preservation and promotion of Naga tribal languages and culture encompassing the different genre of folklore. The Centre strives to develop into an academic and research Centre of excellence. The objective of this course is to equip the students with a sound knowledge in Naga languages and culture. To the end, the course provides a basic introductory framework through which they can access, enhance and broaden their knowledge of language, linguistics, culture and literature through a multifaceted prospect and research work. Above all, the course seeks to instill in the students a spirit of academic inquiry.

Eligibility Criteria: The course is open to all those who have obtained not less than 45% (B.A honors) and not less than 50% (B.A general). The students who have opted B.A English or any Naga languages as major or optional subject will be preferred.

Selection Criteria: The admission will be through an entrance test along with a viva-voice.
