Hi from the Front Desk Upcoming Events Issue 53 - July 2012 Hi from the Front Desk In this Issue In what was a busy month for our National Teams, Tall Blacks Miss Out on Olympic Dream unfortunately both the Tall Blacks and Tall Ferns were unable to qualify for the 2012 London Olympics.     Issue 31 – August 2010 Hi from the front desk! In this issue It is the international season this month and New Zealand basketball has been showing its talent all over the world. Tall Blacks and the FIBA World Our U18 men played FIBA33 basketball at the Youth Championship Olympic Games in Singapore, our Tall Ferns toured Japan, and our Tall Blacks have toured Turkey and Europe in their Limited-edition “I Love Tall Black” t-shirts build for the FIBA World Championship for Men. The Tall Blacks had a tough schedule playing Turkey, Iran, Serbia, Facebook singlets Russia, Slovenia, Jordan and Croatia. They had some Youth Olympic Games tough loses, close calls and some wins.
