Free Professional Tickets Available to La Palma Residents

LA PALMA, Calif. – The Orange County Flyers have provided 1,000 free tickets to their game on July 16 to the City of La Palma as part of the City of La Palma Night Celebration. The City is making these tickets available to La Palma residents and their guests free of charge on a first come-first served basis. Those interested in attending La Palma Night can pick up tickets at the La Palma Police Department on July 6 and 7 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The Orange County Flyers will play the Yuma Scorpions at 7:05 p.m. on July 16 at on the California State University Fullerton campus.

Join members of the community to witness La Palma Mayor Mark Waldman throw out the first pitch and Kennedy High School student Jason White sing the National Anthem. Also in attendance will be graduates from this year’s Police Interaction with Youth (PIY) programs from La Palma schools as well as participants in La Palma Recreation and Community Services programs, the La Palma Kiwanis Club, the La Palma Police Explorers, Neighborhood Watch, and the La Palma Chamber of Commerce.

The Orange County Flyers are a member of the Golden Baseball League and are managed by former Major League player . Nevin, who is in his first year of managing the Orange County Flyers, played for the Minnesota Twins, Chicago Cubs, Texas Rangers, Padres, Anaheim Angels, Detroit Tigers, and the Houston Astros.
