GAME RECAP: The Bisons were shutout on Monday as the bats never got going, giving starter LHP John Anderson his first AAA loss of the year. There were only 3 Bisons who hit safely, and no one recorded a base on balls. 1B Jesus Montero and RF Junior Lake each added a double.

OF NOTE: Anderson has given up his season‐high mark of 10 hits in 3 of his last 4 starts. He has also given up a home run in each of his last 4 starts. Pompey saw his 8‐game hitting streak snapped. Montero’s 15 doubles are tied for the team‐lead, while his .467 SLG stands alone as club‐best.

GAME RECAP: The Blue Jays eventually won out in a tough pitching performance that saw top pitching prospect RHP Conner Greene earn his 3rd win of the season allowing 1 ER over 6.0IP. LHP was also strong in relief, allowing 1 hit over 2.0 IP, and RHP Carlos Ramirez earned his 7th save pitching a perfect 9th. 3B Emilio Guerrero opened the scoring with a home run in the 2nd. With a 1‐1 game in the 7th and 2 outs, 1B Ryan McBroom crushed a 3‐run shot, securing the win for the Blue Jays.

GAME RECAP: RHP Jordan Romano made his first “A” start on Monday and was dominant, tossing all 7.0 innings, allowing only 2 hits and 1 ER, while striking out 7 batters. 1B Juan Kelly was 2‐3 with an RBI and DH John La Prise scored 2 runs, going 1‐1 with a double and a walk.

Great Lakes: 1 run, 2 hits, 3 errors Lansing: 11 runs, 11 hits, 1 error

GAME RECAP: The Lugnuts overpowered Great Lakes in the second game of the double‐header, as starter RHP John Harris gave up only 1 ER on 2 hits and 3 walks while striking out 7 over 5.0 IP. Lansing was also dominant on the offensive front, as RF Jake Thomas was 3‐4 with a double and 3 RBI, 1B Juan Kelly was 3‐5 with a double, and a home run, and DH Connor Panas scored 2 runs and added 4 RBI.

OF NOTE: Markham native Romano made his first Minor League start on Monday with a strong performance. Harris has allowed 1 run or fewer in 8 of his last 9 starts. Kelly has 6 RBI in his last 6 games and 7 in his last 8. He has hit safely in 7 of his last 8 games (only had 1 AB in game where he didn’t record a hit) including 3 multi‐hit contests, 2 doubles, and 4 home runs.
