Dear participant,
If you‘re reading this, that means you‘re going to Smart-up BSR mini camp in Palanga, Lithuania. Congratulations! Let’s start our journey:
Lithuania has 3 international airports:
Vilnius Airport (TVOU) http://vno.lt/en/ Kaunas Airport (KUN) https://www.kaunas-airport.lt/index.php?lang=en Palanga Airport (PLX) http://www.palanga-airport.lt/en
FOR BEST CONVENIENCE WE RECOMMEND TAKING A FLIGHT TO PALANGA AIRPORT
In case your flight lands in Palanga:
All the basic information is here: http://www.palanga-airport.lt/en/how-to-get-here From local experience – cash only. If you are confused – ask younger looking people
In case your flight lands in Vilnius:
Take any city bus (No. 1, 2) headed to STOTIS (bus and train station) – it will take ~ 15 minutes. If you‘re using UBER – go for it! You can always use a taxi, but this should be your last option. If you‘re going to – don‘t take those who are waiting at airport territory, because they will charge you a lot. It‘s better to ask at airport information or anyone who‘s looking young help you to get a taxi. You can take a bus from Vilnius to Palanga directly, or Vilnius-Klaipėda-Palanga route. You can buy your ticket here online (but you have to print it): https://www.autobusubilietai.lt/index.php?lang=0&cl=select&fnc=searchByStopId&travel_from=24 12-1&travel_to=1481-1 (please double check travel dates, in this link I indicated June 13th date), or you can buy tickets directly at the bus stop. Also please check this link: https://www.118.lt/transporto-tvarkarasciai/paieska/vilnius-palanga?actionId=4 – this can also help you to plan the route. In Palanga you can take a taxi or just simply go on foot to our venue.
