MINUTES OF THE SECOND IRINN OPEN POLICY MEETING TO DISCUSS THE POLICY ASPECTS RELATED TO INTERNET RESOURCE ALLOCATION HELD IN INDIA HABITAT CENTRE NEW DELHI- 11003 ON 20th NOV, 2014 AT 1200 HRS. List of participants is attached as Annexure 1. 1. Dr. Ajay Kumar, JS DeitY and Director NIXI chaired the meeting. He welcomed the participants and acknowledged the contribution made by Indian APNIC members during the election of NRO NC. He requested CEO NIXI to start the proceeding of meeting. 2. CEO NIXI congratulated JS, DeitY for winning the election of NRO NC election and commenced the meeting after a round of introduction of participants. It was noted that participants have come from around 10 cities such as Mumbai, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Noida, etc. 3. Manager NIXI made a presentation on IRINN covering the details of IRINN policy objective, resource allocation procedure, AS delegation policy, present status of last /8 block of IPv4 address, resource fee, current IRINN affiliates status etc. 4. CEO NIXI shared details of recent development covering the cooperation SIG at APNIC, IANA Transition, NRO NC responsibility etc. He informed that JS DeitY and CEO NIXI are represented in NRO and NRO CRISP team respectively and will provide inputs on behalf of India to the Asia Pacific Regional Community. With the IRINN Tutorial on Internet Resource Management just completed he sought feedback from the participants on the global Internet resource allocation policies.
