Strengthening the capacities Trained field frontline staff is inadequate in all MCs, and there is a Executive Officer MC Kathua, of the ULBs shortfall of 300 sweepers in all MCs of District Kathua. However the Lakhanpur, Nagri parole, Hiranagar, existing staff members are performing their duties professionally. It is Basholi and Billawar pertinent to mention here that all the sanitation staff needs safety RDD gears, tools and equipments and orientation camps for enhancing the Health & Med. Education Deptt skill development and capabilities. 3. Notification and All By-Laws stands notified and are being implemented as per the Executive Officer MC Kathua, Implementation of By-Laws provisions of Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016 in all MCs of the Lakhanpur, Nagri parole, Hiranagar, District. Basholi and Billawar Bio Medical Waste management Rules 2016 are already in RDD vogue and are being monitored by Pollution Control Board and District Health & Med. Education Deptt Administration. 4. Awareness Public awareness camps have been organized with the Stake Holders Religious Organizations /Self Help Groups, NGO's many times (especially 8-20) times during the NGOs year 2020-21. Besides 10000 leaflets/ Hoardings have been distributed SHGs, and installed at permanent locations regarding waste segregation ULBs certificate by MCs of the District. Moreover, many nuked nataks, Education Deptt symposiums, media advertisement, social media platforms have been Social Welfare used for raining awareness among the public. RDD Health & Med. Education Deptt 5. Monitoring and Review Monitoring and review of performance of all Sub Units within ULB is District Administration, being done by Executive officer and being submitted quarterly to higher PCB, authority. All monitoring authority reports have been submitted for the ULBs year 2021, Besides District environmental Committee has been Health & Med Education Deptt regularly taking monthly review meetings twice in a month and necessary directions are being issued by the District Magistrate are being followed in letter & sprit. In respect of bio-medical waste monitoring and review of performance of all HCFs are being monitored by the PCB in the District. 6. Community mobilization of Community mobilization regarding solid waste and need of solid waste Religious Organizations masses through Students, management, waste segregation at source level, adoption of zero NGOs Anganwadi workers/ waste, lifestyle and worm composts, benefits of solid waste SHGs, Helpers, Sarpanches, management and natural resource management is being taken up by ULBs Panchs, member of the ULB of District Kathua in consultation with education, health, Education Deptt Urban Local Bodies and agriculture, horticulture, Industries, Forest through Informative Social Welfare religious preachers in Education Communication Activities (IEC). To create mass awareness, RDD Temples, Mosques, financial support is required to all the MCs. Health & Med Education Deptt Churches, Gurudwara and other places of community congregations. 7.
