We’ll put a seat in it and run what we got. My family is my crew: wife Amy, son Matthew and daughter Sydney. — Kevin Anderson

Endeavor…No major changes to the crew #11or the aircraft. Cash is still the Crew Chief for both Endeavor and Miss Demeanor in the Formula one class and the Super RV-8 in the sport class. Rita, Nancy, Vaughn, and Ed will again round out the rest Gene Hubbard of the team. And of course Doug will continue to fl y Miss Demeanor until I have it sold or he beats me. Everyone on the team and all the aircraft are race ready and looking forward to put on a great show. — Steve Senegal Naomi West

Outrageous…is back in #12the race this year. Same plane, Lachie Onslow still owns it. But I get to fl y it while Lachie fl ies the jet. — Justin Phillipson Ken Linde September Fate…is owned by Brian and Sherawn #13 Reberry of Boise, Idaho. This new racer has been in the build process for over two years. We are excited to debut our prototype airplane this year at the races. September Fate came to life with the engineering skills, creativity, support and belief of family, friends and partners! This prototype is fl ying today because of our belief in the sport of Air Racing. Our crew will return this year: Don Waters, Mo Miller, Sherawn Reberry, and Paul Remaley. — Brian Reberry

Pooder….Very few changes for 2012. The magneto troubles that plagued us last #20 year were sorted at PRS, and the airplane is great! Hopefully we will be able to mount the new wheel pants (that were supposed to be on last year) and fabricate a low drag tail wheel, but if not, c’est la vie... Crew for 2012 remains the same: Mark Ter Keurs, and Paul Trudel. Looking forward to catching up with friends, and having a safe, fun event! — Tom Watkins Ken Linde N-A-Rush …After our fi rst year of racing and getting to know the plane, #36 we took it up to Brian Reberry’s hangar in April and rebuilt it from zero. It’s a different plane now -- fi berglass shell, new stabilizer and turtle deck, modifi ed lower cowling. We even fi xed the fuel leak! The Spanish team who rebuilt the plane will be my crew: Silvia Hernandez and Rodrigo (Roy) Patino. — Bill Parodi Ken Linde Miss USA…is back to race in 2012 in her original Red and White colours #40 with some performance upgrades. Steve “Griffen” Tumlin has spent the year quietly perfecting some of the changes we toyed with last year. The aircraft has lost some weight and grown 12”, so is longer, leaner and ready to go fast. The team hopes

Gene Hubbard not to be banished to Beckworth this year and expects to go faster. Much faster! Kevin “Blade” Broughall, leads the engineering team, coming from North Weald, UK, where he oversees vintage jets and classic . Ben “Torque” Wilson, joins us for his second year in F1 from Oklahoma State professional pilot school. “Prin’cess” Kelly Hathaway will lead the blondetourage, maintain morale, source spare parts and keep the team fed and watered from the Church van without breaking a sweat. For crew, I will have one of my brothers returning, and my daughter Allison joining us mid-week after the Paralympic games conclude. So I have a crew of vets and, for the future, a bunch of rookies so to help our class grow — Jay Jones

Scarlet Screamer…New crew chief is Rene Berndt. Max Ungricht is still team leader #50 and manager. There will also be a new guy from bionic surface with us to take care of our special wing surface. There are also two new team members in the core team: Bruno De Perini and Jonathan Bailey, both fantastic aviation engineers, have taken care of the canopy and turtle deck modifi cation. New partners Ruag and Mecaplex are providing us with parts and engineering for our new canopy and turtle deck. We joined up with Massey Aircraft Service; big thanks to Jim Jordan whose crew works with us for all our preparations. Also thanks to Ly-Con who did amazing work on our engine which was not in best shape after last year. Oris Watches is with us again and they will make another new watch dedicated to our team. There are to many little mods to list but it starts from oil cooling and ends at telemetry. — Vito Wypraechtiger

Wasabi... is excited to be back at the races. It takes a miracle to get an airplane to Reno; Tim Adams Tim #68 in our case that miracle came from our sponsors and team mates. Nemesis Air Rac- ing provided aero, structural design, motor a-go-go and just about everything else. Grove Aircraft supplied gear, brakes, and mechanical design expertise, hands down the best in the business. Experimental Aircraft Exhaust provided stainless welding and design for performance on a staggering schedule. MGL provided our engine monitoring hardware and software as well as our post fl ight data analysis capability. Aero-chia for composite assistance. We can’t forget the only prop man who’s turned with a MiG-21, Ralph Wise. Our crew includes Jennifer Whaley back as Crew Chief, motor man is Justin Gillen, Ken Baker is on Airframe. Propman Steve Hill will start the monster while Drew Seguin and Dave Patriarch will handle the RCS work. We look forward to doing our part checking the barrels for bird nests with the rest of the hardest working class at the races, see you in September! — Elliot Seguin Tim AdamsTim Ken Linde

Knotty Girl… Philip Goforth sadly will be unable to participate this year due to other #69 obligations. However, having remembered Dave Roelofs’ barely induced proclamation last year that he would enter a Formula One in 2012, Philip magnanimously offered Dave the opportunity to make good on his commitment by allowing him the use of Knotty Girl. Steve Tumlin has cared for the airplane in the off season and fi tted her with new instruments and an airbox. The object of the team this year will be to support this great organization by adding one more plane to the fray and providing a home for Philip’s crew to enjoy participating in the air races. Our focus will be on safety, helping our racing brothers, and enjoying the event to its fullest. Thanks Philip, we’ll miss you! — Dave Roelofs Zach Whalen Madness …. Not a whole lot to report except some fi nish work was done on the #87 wings. They had some cracks in them from sitting in the trailer at Lake Tahoe. Steve Tumlin is still the Crew Chief and Marty Wilkins and brother Don should be coming from Ohio. The goal this year is just to renew friendships. — Steve Temple Ken Linde Miss Demeanor…returns again with Nancy Glidden and Ed Dutreaux as keepers/ #96 speed masters, and me driving.
