LOCAL FLAVOURS AT GOLDEN VILLAGE GOLD CLASS - Singapore‘s top cinema chain serves up local delights during Singapore Food Festival -

1st July 2008 œ Come 4 July, Golden Village Multiplex is celebrating the Singapore Food Festival (SFF) with a line up of local dishes that will tingle the taste buds and compliment your dinning experience at Golden Village Gold Class VivoCity.

Chefs Chris Foo and Ronnie Ng will be serving up a four-course local menu exclusively for Gold Class patrons from July 4th œ 27th July 2008.

The Singapore Food Festival Menu is as follows: Appetizer: Rojak fruit salad Choice of Main Course: Soft Shell Chili Crab or Curry Fish with Prata. Desert: An east meets west offering of, Chendol with Ben & Jerry‘s ice cream. Drink: Your choice of a coffee, tea or soft drink. All items are also available ala carte. The limited edition Singapore Food Festival menu, is available at S$25+++

In addition to the menu designed for the SFF, the existing Gold Class menu has also been updated.

In improving the menu, Chef Chris and Ronnie have introduced 8 new items to the menu. Among which include Spring Rolls and Fried Ika Ball, under the Asian selection. In the Bakery section, they have added the Oven Baked Black Pepper Chicken Pie and Crispy Baked Tuna Puff. And if you r preference is something a little more western, try the Gold Class Jumbo Hotdog and wash it down with a Soda Float œ a great combo to pair off your Gold Class experience. If you are after a stronger beverage, discover the first single malt Scottish vodka in the world, Valt, at Golden Village Gold Class.

Chefs Chris and Ronnie, have between them almost 50 years of culinary experience. They were instrumental in designing the hugely popular menus for Ratatouille, No Reservations and more recently, the Sex And The City menu.

Chef Chris has had the privilege of cooking for Ministers the likes of Mr. Mah Bow Tan as well as the French and Danish Ambassadors to Singapore. Chef Ronnie, has honed his

skills in New Zealand and China as well as having held leading roles at ISS Catering Services and at the Singapore Zoological Gardens. Chefs Ronnie and Chris also dedicate their time and skills, to the training of the kitchen staff at VivoCity. The right presentation, on well designed plates completes the preparation efforts.
