Sounds of Nashville Brings to Green Bay Botanical Garden

(Green Bay, WI)(July 5, 2018) – Green Bay Botanical Garden welcomes some of Country music’s renowned songwriters to the Green Bay area for Sounds of Nashville, an acoustic concert from 7-9 pm on Friday, August 3 in the Schneider Family Grand Garden as part of the Schneider Family Concert Series this summer.

Three Nashville songwriters will perform acoustic sets of Country music favorites as they share the story behind the lyrics in this unique and intimate setting.

Doors open at 5:30 pm. Guests who purchase lawn seating tickets should bring chairs or blankets to sit on.

Ticket prices are as follows:

 Lawn Seating Ticket: $25/Garden Member; $30/Non-Member  Child (age 3-17) Lawn Seating Ticket: $10/Child (One adult lawn seating ticket required with purchase.)  Cowles Terrace Ticket: $40/Garden Member; $45/Non-Member  VIP Southern Dinner Ticket: $150; includes cocktail hour with hand passed hors d'oeuvres, private performance and meet & greet with songwriters, and 3-course family-style southern dinner prepared by Chefusion  VIP Table: $800/Reserved Table of 8; $400/Reserved Table of 4; includes bar service to the table and after party meet & greet with songwriters

Meet the artists:  Bob DiPiero: DiPiero is one of Nashville’s most prolific and consistent songwriters with an astounding 15 #1 hits and more than 1,000 songs and countless hit singles from “American Made” by The Oak Ridge Boys to “Southern Voice” by Tim McGraw. Among his many awards are 50 BMI Million-Air honors, multiple of the Year awards and 2 consecutive Triple Play awards for 3 #1

songs within a 12-month period. In 2007, he was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and Nashville’s Walk of Fame.  Lee Thomas Miller: Miller earned his first writing credit when Blackhawk released "Days of America" in 2002. Another recording from 2002, "The Impossible" by Joe Nichols, was nominated for a Grammy Award a year later. Both it and 's 2003 single "I Just Wanna Be Mad" earned Miller BMI Million-Air awards in 2004 for receiving one million radio plays each. In addition to 3 Grammy nominations, Miller won CMA and ACM song of the year awards with "In Color".  Wendell Mobley: Mobley’s songs have been at #1 for 25 weeks and they have sold more than 60 million records. His work includes #1 hits like “Take Me There” and “Fast Cars and Freedom” by Rascal Flatts, “How Forever Feels” and “” by , “Tattoos In This Town” and “A Little More Summertime” by Jason Aldean, and “How Country Feels” by Randy Houser. Mobley has also had other songs recorded by Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Dustin Lynch, Rodney Atkins, Alabama, Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood, Edwin McCain and many others.
