Occupational epidemiology in the time of Trump

Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to: 1) discuss three global trends that are impacting the nature of work and its health hazards: , the rise of the knowledge economy, and climate change; 2) describe recent research on the adverse impacts of economic change on the health of working age populations in the U.S., in particular on the “ of despair”: , and ; and 3) to explain opportunities for occupational epidemiology to protect workers’ health during a time of social disruption from the aforementioned global trends.
