Així són Eagles of Death Metal http://eaglesofdeathmetal.com( ) (EODM), el grup liderat per Jesse Hughes i Josh Homme -membre també de Queens Of The Stone Age ( http://www.qotsa.com) - que aquest divendres era a l'escenari durant la irrupció dels terroristes en l'atac indiscriminat que va patir la sala Bataclan i París (http://www.naciodigital.cat/noticia/98120/mapa/dels/set/atacs/simultanis/paris) . El segrest acabava entrada la matinada amb desenes de morts i ferits (http://www.naciodigital.cat/noticia/98122/paris/es/lleva/despr/nit/terror) després que els terroristes prenguessin bona part dels assistents al concert com a ostatges. Originaris de Califòrnia, els membres d'EODM confirmaven aquest divendres mateix, poc després dels atemptats, que havien sobreviscut i eren sans i estalvis, tot i que també han expressat que encara no saben on és part del seu equip tècnic. Potser no ha estat res més que una macabra casualitat, però l'atac al Bataclan ha coincidit amb l'actuació d'un grup que sempre ha reivindicat la diversió per damunt de totes les coses.
