Lebanese Army Forces

General Directorate of Internal Security Forces
The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division announced that, within the framework of following up cases infected with the Coronavirus in prisons, to date, cases of laboratory, clinical and temporal recovery from the Corona virus have arrived in Roumieh Central Prison and in the Beirut Justice Palace, and in the prisons of minors and women in Baabda to / 992 / out of the total number / 1058 / positive cases, after / 4018 / laboratory tests were performed. After conducting a few tests, it was diagnosed: / 85 / positive case in Tire prison, / 47 / positive case in Tibnine prison, positive case in Aley prison, two positive cases in Tripoli justice palace prison and glasses, / 4 / positive cases in the Tripoli prisons platoon, a positive case in each of the two al-Tal factions And Bab al-Raml, / 6 / positive cases in the glasses of the Judicial Police unit and the recovery of / 4 / cases, and one positive case in the glasses of the Beirut Police unit.
The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division announced that it is in implementation of the decision issued by the National Operations Room for Disaster Management, which prohibits going out and entering streets and roads between 21:30 and 5:00 in the morning of the next day, for a period of one month, starting From Monday 4/12-2021, except for the sectors mentioned in the attached two tables, which are allowed to operate during this period, and in order to maintain public safety and reduce the risk of the spread of the Corona epidemic, the internal security forces will strictly implement the content of this The decision states the following:
• Stress the obligation of citizens to wear a mask under the pain of organizing an arrest warrant against every violator.
• Wandering between the hours of 21.30 pm and 5.00 am restricted to persons who have been excluded according to Decision No. / 96 / M. s. Date 6-2-2021, according to the conditions specified in the decision. As for persons not included in the exception and subject to the closure decision, they are allowed to move after obtaining permission from the "Impact" platform by accessing the link "covid.pcm.gov.lb", for the following categories: hotels, hospitals and their direct services, pharmacies, gas stations, Vegetable, fruit and fish markets.
• Persons traveling to and from Beirut International Airport can transfer after they show the necessary documents (travel ticket, boarding pass ...).
• It can hold prayers in places of worship while adhering to the measures and preventive measures against the Coronavirus and social distancing within 30% of their absorptive capacity.
• It is forbidden to hold banquets, tents and Ramadan breakfasts, and charitable organizations and associations can distribute food and food after obtaining permission from the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities

The meeting of the Committee for Follow-up of Preventive Measures and Procedures for Coronavirus on April 14, 2021 issued the following recommendation:
• Resumption of activity in the educational sector in all its branches and stages (general education, vocational and technical education, and higher education) gradually within an integrated curriculum that considers all measures and preventive measures for the Coronavirus, in accordance with the general health guide in this regard and according to time stages determined by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education

The Ministry of Interior and Municipalities issued Memorandum No. 23 / A / M / 2021 on April 12, 2021 regarding the conditions and instructions related to authorizing organizations and charities to distribute food during the blessed month of Ramadan based on the first item of the recommendations of the Follow-up Committee on Measures and Preventive Measures for Coronavirus issued on 7/4 / 2021. The memo included the following:
• Instructions and conditions that apply to charities and organizations that distribute breakfast meals to fasting people. • Mechanism for charitable organizations and societies to obtain special permission from the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities to distribute food. • The General Directorate of Internal Security strictly monitors the adherence of non-governmental organizations and associations to the conditions and instructions issued in the decision and organizes seizure records against violators
A statement issued by the National Operations Room on 12/4/2021 following the statement circulated on 4/10/2021 and in implementation of the decree to extend the general mobilization in the face of the Coronavirus until 9/30/2021, related to adding the following sectors that are allowed to operate during the period of the exit ban And access to the streets and roads and the roaming document for its workers (permission for the company to work from the platform with an ID card):
. The Ministry of Information has published, on its website, a new list containing 51 questions and answers about the Corona vaccine, developed in cooperation with the Ministries of Public Health and Information, the World Health Organization and UNICEF. The regulation includes:
. General information about the anti-Corona vaccines, their effectiveness, their side effects, and the time it takes to protect the recipient of the vaccine. . Information about the "AstraZeneca" vaccine and the assurance that it is safe, effective and does not cause blood clots. . Information about the difference between the different vaccines, and their effectiveness against new mutations of the mutated Covid-19 virus. . Information on the mechanism of purchasing, storing and distributing vaccines, and controlling their quality. . Information about the possibility of special cases such as pregnant and lactating women and those suffering from chronic diseases obtaining the anti-corona vaccine, and the effect of the vaccine on pregnancy and fertility.

Following the decision of extending the general mobilization till 30 August 2021 and after evaluating the epidemiological reality and the decisions that should be taken in order to prevent the spread of Corona virus and based on the high prevalence of the pandemic in all governorates, the below should be taken into consideration:
1. Obligation of wearing face masks under the circumstance of fining the violators. 2. Implement a total curfew from Monday, 12 April 2021, with a period of one month, starting 2130hrs till 0500hrs, with the exemption of personnel who satisfy the conditions that are mentioned in the decision No: 96 issued on 06 February 2021, in addition to individuals who are not covered by the decision who can obtain a transportation clearance through covid.pcm.gov.lb for the below sectors: 3. Hotels, Hospitals, Pharmacies, Gas station, vegetables, fruits and fish markets, 4. Request to all religious figures to warn from not abiding by the imposed preventive measures and urged to implement strict measures in worship places during prayers with a maximum capacity of 30%. 5. Travelers to/from BRHIA are exempted from the curfew based on possessing valid documents (ticket, boarding pass, …etc.).
6. It is forbidden to hold banquets, feasts, Ramadan tents, with the exception of charities and institutions who will be allowed to deliver food after obtaining a permit from the MoIM (Ministry of Interior and Municipalities). 7. The Presidency of the Council of Ministers issued Circular No. 5/2021 on 3/26/2021, whereby, based on the proposal of the Ministerial Committee, all public departments and institutions are required to work with an attendance rate not exceeding 50%
• Re-extension of the general mobilization status for a period of six months, starting from 1/4/2021 until 9/30/2021 inclusive, with the enforcement of the measures and procedures imposed and their implementation during the general mobilization extension period.
• Request the technical committee charged with following up on the control of the Coronavirus, to complete communication with the concerned authorities, trade unions and associations, in order to put it into practice and to adhere to the procedures and measures that contribute to mitigating the spread of the epidemic.

- Overcrowding in foodstuff stores, failure to organize roles on payment boxes, failure to respect the safe distance between customers, and the obligation to wear masks.
