A Note from the Show President

I am yet again writing this in somewhat un-summery weather, but with my fingers tightly crossed that the sun-god will look favourably upon us on Show Day.

2015 was a sad time for the farming community of Mull & Iona, with the loss of such Show stalwarts. It is on a day like this that we think of them; Lachlan in the Blackie ring, Bert resting on his stick by the and Theresa between the horses and the Dog Show.

This year we have introduced a Young Farmers section. This will start prior to the judging of the Blackface . Norman MacPhail has presented a trophy in memory of his great-aunt, Bunty MacPhail.

2016 is my last year as President of the Show. I would like to thank everyone who has helped me along the way and kept me right. I am handing the reins over to Colum Scott and I am sure that the Show will continue to go from strength to strength.

Good Luck to all, Garth

Everyone is welcome to join us for a ‘Blether and B-B-Q’ after the main prizegiving
