He informed that the District coflector is the chairman of the Pubric Hearing paner as per ErA Notification 2006. The Joint corector, Nerore, Nominee of the corector & District Magistrate, SpsR Nerore District wi, preside over today's EPH proceedings. The purpose of conducting the present EpH is to get pubric opinion viz., comments, views, objections, apprehensions, clarificaiibns and suggestions etc. if any, on the project proposar. Page 3 of 10 The proposed Industrial Park has envisaged to accommodate various industrial sectors viz., Heavy Engineering; Pharm aceuticals, Finished Leather products excluding tanning & hide processing, Textile & Food processing etc. The proposed project is expected to provide employment to about 17000 peisonnel directly in- addition to indirect employment to 4500 personnel. This will boost socio-economic status of the surrounding villages at large. He has requested the public to extend their support for the establishment of the proposed lndustrial park. L&T lnfrastructure Engineering Limited has conducted Environmental study in the study are of 10km. radius from the proposed project site during April to June 2016 and ErA report is prepared incorporating the baserine pertaining to Ambient Air euality, Water euality, Soil quality, Noise, Flora & Fauna etc. The nearest village habitations to the proposed project sire are Menakuru and Konetirajr.rpalem of Naidupeta Mandal, SpSR Nellore Diskict. There are no defense installations near the proposed project site. Available fresh water resources for the proposed projeit. area are Swarnamukhi River and Mamidi Kaluva. There is one Eco-sensitive Biosphere i.e. wird rife Bird Sanctuary known as Nelapattu, which is located outside of the project study area. Soil quality has been studied to be within the prescribed norms. lndustrial Waste Water Treatment Scheme :- ln the proposed project a centralized common ETP is proposed to be established with an investment of Rs.35.0 Crores for treating the total quantity of waste water to be generated from various industrial sectors and the treated waste water would be utilized for Green Belt Development. ) Green Belt Development :-The project proponent has prriposed to develop Green belt in 33% of the total land extent as per the stipulated CPCB norms. ) Solid Waste/ Hazardous Waste Manaoement : Solid wastes generates from industrie-s would be segregaled into non-hazardous and hazardous waste. Wetlands are depend on by countless animal and plant species. They serve as breeding grounds for migrating birds and resident amphibians, permanent homes for fish species, social interaction amongst mammals who congregate there for water, and an escape from the heat of the sun for countless reptiles, amphibians and mammals. Rarely is there a wetland seen without vegetation fighting for the resources wetlands provide. Some vegetation species only are found amongst swamps and ephemeral ponds. Wetlands are seen as the cornerstone of wildlife populations. On the eve of World wetland day on 2 nd February, 2013 at the famous Pulicat and Nelapattu Birds Sanctuaries, Wildlife Management Division, Sullurpet organized few programmes to create awareness on importance and values of Wetlands. Departmental staff, teachers, more than 450 students, Biologist, Naturalist and NGOs participated in the programme. Local NGO by name Pulicat Lake Birds Lovers Society, Sullurpet is actively involved and coordinated with the Department. Students from Government schools as well as private schools, teachers and Wildlife Management Division staff participated in the rally at Sullurpet town with Placards and slogans to make Sullurpet know the importance of the Wetlands day Forest Staff and Students participated in the rally at Sullurpet town the WWD function Rural Awareness Folk arts presented a beautiful show to the students the importance of wetlands in particular and Nature in general.
