Superintendent Juneau said the school district remains committed to taking every possible measure to remain safe, while continuing to provide essential supports for students and families.

“Governor Inslee’s announcement makes it clear that we not only need to remain diligent, but we also need to redouble our efforts to take every precaution during this pandemic,” the superintendent said. “During this time, we are committed to continuing to provide our students with the best education possible while also delivering essential services like meals for students and space for childcare providers.”

Superintendent Juneau urged all SPS students, families and staff to remain diligent while following public health and state guidance.

“It is so important that our families continue to take care of themselves and their loved ones,” said Superintendent Juneau. “I truly believe that we will get through this, but only if we continue to support each other every step of the way.”
