This December, Sacred Heart College will once again host the Trans-Tasman Schoolboys Water Polo Tournament.
Sacred Heart College hosted previously in 2006 and in 2016.
The event began in 2004 hosted by Church Grammar School, Brisbane with five teams and now has a limit of 16 teams.

The event will start on Sunday 8 December at 5pm with refreshments and a meeting for managers and coaches. The event will conclude on Thursday 12 December with prizegiving and a dinner.

Entry fee for the event will be $1,095 NZ Dollars plus GST of 15%. This will include: • Pool hire • Graded Referees • Medals and trophies • Refreshments and meeting on Sunday 8 December • Prizegiving dinner on the Thursday 12 December • A programme with team names and the draw
Entries are open for 16 teams of male players, born 2001 or later, that attend the same school during 2019. If space permits, consideration will be given to invitational teams from different schools, however such teams will not be eligible to take part in the Championship play-off games.
Expressions of interest will be taken from school teams throughout May and June with entries closing on Wednesday 10 July 2019.
The entry fee for teams accepted will be due 31 July.
Final team lists and school profiles for the programme are needed by 25 October.
Sacred Heart College is a Marist Catholic School of 1300 students with boarding facilities for 170 and an indoor swimming complex. It is located in Auckland’s Eastern Bays near St Heliers and Mission Bay Beaches, within 10km from the CBD.
The Boarding facilities are available for bookings at a rate of $95 plus GST including three meals catered.
