< Modal Shift > The safe and reliable freight transport is energy-efficient as well as environmentally-friendly, and enables mass transport. The greenhouse gas CO2 emission of railway transportation is only one-eighth of transportation made by trucks. Modal shift to rails reduces 87% of CO2 emissions.
