THOR

Review by Logan Leavitt What Is Your Favorite Thor is a movie by Marvel Studios that is based off of the original comic book series. It is about Thor, the god Band? of thunder in Norse mythology. Thor is banished from his By:Mikayla Reynolds home world and sent to Earth where he has to become worthy again to wield his hammer which is the source of Sam Clark: ACDC his power. This was an excellent movie in many aspects. Emily Wendling: Train The character design and cast are sure to please any fan of the original comic book, and the plot and overall acting of Leilani Wheaton: Firefly the film should keep anyone of any taste interested Olivia Kerouac: Jesus Culture throughout the entire movie. The special effects and sound Logan Ulitzsch: Black Eyed Peas are top notch, everything from fire, to explosions, to the Miquela Hutchins: Rob Thomas powerful swing of Thor's hammer is clearly high budget and Christina Nunez: Beatles extremely pleasing to the eye. The environments in this Maggie Cyr: Avenged Sevenfold film are also incredible. Thor's homeworld, Asgard, Caleb Williams : complete with golden pillars and castles, is one of the most Ravin Kibbons: Black Eyed Peas magnificent places a movie has ever taken me to, and it Cait Boyd: Never Shout Never really does feel as though you are there. My only complaints about this movie is that even with a runtime of Kayla Kroesch: Waka Flaca 1 hour and 56 minutes I felt there wasn't enough conflict Flame outside of the simple good guy versus bad guy storyline Liz Jareki: P!NK that movies of this type follow. Also, this film did Jo Roy: Placebo something that while others may love, I absolutely hate Courtney Bruen: Black Eyed and that is tacking on the big 3D sign. This film was not shot Peas in 3D which means the 3D is simply an effect added on Kayla Barnes: Sum41 using a computer. So basically you're paying two extra Mr. Miller: Skillet dollars for a major headache, so don't bother seeing it in 3D unless you really want to. Other than those two things I absolutely loved this movie and give it an 8.5 out of 10 and highly suggest going to see it. Do not bring a baby or small child along though because this movie gets LOUD, I actually plugged my ears through part of it because it was so loud. And stay after the credits if you want a little sequel secret.
