Since the 2007 Wolverine Workshop, we have been focused on implementing conservation actions made possible by the first phase of the program and developing a second phase of work. The Ph.D. program that Bob is undertaking in Sweden has allowed us to incorporate a great deal of knowledge from the 15 years of wolverine research experience accumulated by the Swedish Wolverine Project. Between these interactions, the ideas generated by the biologists who attended the wolverine workshop, and the pilot studies we conducted this past spring, we are ready to move forward.
