We have been visited by 25 000 students from 200 schools from all over Estonia. . 600 Mektory tours for students and teachers . 850 courses and workshops What we offer to students and teachers

For teachers: . Development programs and seminars in cooperation with schools . Using contemporary technologies in school lessons . Popular science lectures by university lecturers

„Mektory School Day“

. Project started in 2015, supported by the Ministry of Education and Research

. Study days for schools in TUT and Mektory centre. . We allow schools to use TUT and Mektory labs, devices and lecturers for conducting everyday learning.

. Inspiring surroundings, newest technical and technological solutions, practical learning

. Breaking the routine for teachers and students

Youth Startup Competition and Training Program Bright Minds for school students

. Skills and knowledge of the start up world for students and their teachers . No age limitations for participating . Ideas preferrably in STEM fields (science, engineering, tehnology, mathematics) . 300 students and 50 teachers from 5 counties took part in the opening event in November 2015. . About 130 students attended monthly seminars . 20 best ideas reached the final in May 2016. . This years Bright Minds program starts November 24, 2016

. In June 2015 Mektory signed a cooperation agreement with Lääne County Innovation Centre

. Mektory lab in Lääne County

. Mektory gifted the Innovation Centre 10 safe woodworking machines

. „Classroom in a truck“ Mobile classroom that visits all the schools in Lääne County and further

. Annual Lääne County Day in Mektory Local communities (including students, teachers, county officials, businesses and entrepreneurs) come together for a special day introducing cooperation possibilities with TUT Collaboration (4)

TUT Mektory USA days for school students grades 8-11

. Educational program aimed at introducing STEM fields and opportunities of STEM education in Estonia and USA. . Program also introduces American culture, politics, innovation, science and other areas. . TUT Mektory USA day will take place once a month in Mektory centre. . Day consists of robotics workshops, seminars and lectures by guest speakers on American culture, society, politics, etc), presentation about education opportunities in USA, quizzes, etc. . Program aimed at smaller schools and at schools from more remote areas, transportation provided by TUT with the funding of the embassy. Where to find more information?
