1. Entry is available to any animal whether or not entered in the open class. 2. Entry forms must be completed for each exhibit. NO ENTRY FEE. 3. Only records for the last two completed consecutive lactations (up to 305 days) will be taken into consideration. 4. CALVING INTERVAL - Points will be awarded for the interval between the first calving date and the last dry date in the qualifying lactation's. On a scale of plus two points per day under 750 days minus two points for each day over 750 days. 5. VALUE OF MILK - Points will be awarded for the value of milk produced. On a scale of plus two points per kilo of fat produced and plus 3 points per kilo of protein produced. 6. INSPECTION - The cow placed first on inspection will receive a number of points equal to the number of maximum production points awarded in the class. The remainder of the inspection points shall be awarded at the Judges discretion. 7. EXHIBITOR BRED - 300 points will be awarded to any entry bred by the exhibitor. A SILVER CUP PRESENTED BY AVONCROFT Ltd. will be awarded for the animal with the Best Udder in classes 3-10 WELSH BLACKS This show is a qualifying show for the prestigious Welsh Black Cattle Society’s ‘Bull & Female of the Year’ award – champion bull, champion female and reserve bull and female champions. Prizes from RUMENCO will be awarded at each show to the owners of the highest Welsh black bull and female. Animals must be exhibited by WBCS members and no animal may win more than prize in any season. A further prize will be awarded by ROMENCO to the owners of the bull and female who gain the highest aggregate points at the nominated shows, and prizes will be awarded to the reserve and second reserve winners. A further cash prize will be awarded to winners by the WBCS. All exhibits must be entered in the WBCS herd book, Grading up appendix or polled register. 22 SHOW RULES The Show is to be held in strict accordance with the Licence Conditions of the Animal Gathering (WALES) Order 2007.

1. No prizes will be awarded in any class where the Judge considers the Exhibits to be below the standard of merit. 2. All Exhibits must be bona fide property of the Exhibitor. 3. Any Exhibitor who shall be found guilty of fraudulent practices at the Show shall be disqualified. 4. No Steward exhibiting any animal shall be allowed in the Ring when his animal is being judged. 5. Any objection to any exhibit must be made in writing and handed to the Secretary, accompanied by a deposit of £1. In the event of such objection being frivolous, the deposit will be forfeited to the funds. 6. Any animal competing in Classes where height is a qualification must be measured by the Veterinary Officer employed for the purpose, who shall give the owners a card certifying the height, such measurements to be made before the animals enter the ring. 7. Any animal competing in classes where age is a qualification must provide date of birth if requested. 8. One person only to be admitted Free with exhibits of Stock. No free admittance for exhibitors in Dog Show. 9. The Committee or Secretary will not be answerable or responsible for any accident, loss or damage to persons or property, at or during the Show. They will not be responsible for any printers’ errors in the Schedule or Catalogue. 10. All servants or owners in charge of stock will be subject to the orders of the stewards; any servant or owner disobeying such orders will be liable to be fined or expelled from the Show Field. 11.
