“Chante is dominant -to-block and can affect the game on both ends. She is 6-5 but on the defensive end she plays bigger than that because she boards it off the rim, she blocks shots against the glass, she can fi nish in the paint, and gives Duke a legitimate interior post presence. She changes the complexion of the game. We haven’t seen a player like Chante Black in the women’s game since Sylvia Fowles at 6-6 from LSU last year led the USA Olympic team in scoring and rebounding. That is how great Chante Black’s athleticism is in my imagination.” -Debbie Antonelli, National Television Analyst Career Statistics Year GP GS Min Avg FG FGA Pct 3FG 3FGA Pct FT FTA Pct Off Def Tot Avg PF FO Ast TO Blk Stl Pts Avg 2004-05 34 3 641 18.9 87 165 .527 0 0 .000 36 70 .514 97 163 260 7.6 64 0 39 57 46 28 210 6.2 2005-06 34 11 636 18.7 109 202 .540 0 0 .000 49 84 .583 83 125 208 6.1 90 1 20 57 65 28 267 7.9 2006-07 MEDICAL REDSHIRT 2007-08 35 35 953 27.2 191 364 .525 0 0 .000 112 144 .778 99 150 249 7.1 84 1 49 77 81 49 494 14.1 2008-09 25 25 744 29.8 147 291 .505 0 2 .000 86 122 .705 88 128 216 8.6 56 2 38 71 53 37 380 15.2 TOTAL 128 74 2974 23.2 534 1022 .523 0 2 .000 283 420 .674 367 566 933 7.3 294 4 146 262 245 142 1351 10.6 AAll-ACCll-ACC CandidateCandidate SeniorS • 5-10 • Guard • Highlands Ranch, Colo.

“When you talk with Abby Waner, she is an impressive young lady. She is very thorough, very disciplined and very determined to be a great basketball player and also to work on her goal of becoming a broadcaster. She is one of those players that if she gets hot she is one of the best shooters in the country. That is one of the special parts of Abby Waner’s game is her vision and her ability to make plays off the dribble.”

“Jasmine is such a great story because she has become the consummate point guard/scorer combination. I think it’s a pretty rare thing to have a player who can score and put up a bunch of points but at the same time can control the tempo, attack off the dribble, shoot the three ball, and defend and press like she can. Jasmine’s uniqueness lies in the fact that she can do all these things as a sophomore guard. She’s really risen to the occasion against the top teams across the country, which to me, exemplifi es an All-ACC player.”
