Characters: Santa Dasher Dancer Prancer Vixen Comet Cupid Donner Blitzen Rudolph Child One Christkind Tomte Befana Narrator One Narrator Two Narrator Three

Scene One: Narrator One: This scene begins in the North Pole on Christmas Eve in the year 2025, and Santa just got his new Tesla Model S electric sleigh. Even though he can now deliver presents without his rein- deer, they still go along with him for the sake of tradition.

Santa: We’re going to the US and Canada frst. Let’s go, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and Rudolph!

Rudolph: Will there be a “Comet” in the night sky again?

Cupid: Yep, same thing every year.

Dasher: Are you going to have to call the fre department if you get stuck in a chimney again this year?

Santa: Nope, Mrs. Claus hasn’t let me eat processed sugar all year… and she’s been making me go gluten free too! 5 www.numberock.com Comet: I’m on the paleo diet myself.

Blitzen: I went vegetarian.

Donner: Uhh, what does this have to do with Christmas, y’all?

Child One: (Sees Santa’s sleigh and starts yelling from a cornfeld in Iowa) MERRY CHRISTMAS! Santa, do you have my new video game?!

Santa: Nope, you should’ve been nicer to your little sister! Maybe next year, naughty boy.

Child One: Oh rats! I’m so sad that I’m naughty.

Narrator Two: The naughty child yelled at Santa and said, “I hope you get Claus-trophobia in someone’s chimney tonight! But after he thought about his actions some, he went home, determined to be nicer to his sister. Next year Santa would be bringing him his video game because of all the positive changes he was going to make in his attitude.

Santa: Let’s go, reindeer dudes; of to Mexico we go!

Prancer: There aren’t so many chimneys in Mexico because the weather is so warm.

Dancer: Are we going to sneak into the houses while people are parading with candles for Las Posadas again?

Cupid: Yep, same thing every year.

Donner: Obviously, we are going to do that again, Dancer.

Dancer: Ok, ok, I was just asking.

Narrator Three: Then Dancer asked Santa if he preferred going through people’s front doors, or down their chimneys. “Their chimneys,” Santa replied. When Dancer asked why, Santa replied, “I guess be- cause it “soots” me.”

Scene Two: Santa: Let’s hop over the Atlantic Ocean and make a stop in England.

Dasher: Are we dropping of those tubes that make a loud crack again, instead of normally wrapped presents?

Cupid: Yep, same thing every year.

6 www.numberock.com Dancer: You know the British……. they like their “crackers.”

Prancer: Oh, are they really called crackers… like the food?

Vixen: They totally are… They totally are.

Narrator One: Santa and his reindeer were now getting a little tired after crossing an entire ocean. Luckily for the reindeer, Santa remembered to bring his bluetooth speakers, and he blasted one of his favorite tunes by the North Pole’s hottest new artist, Elf-is Presley.

Santa: Now that we’re pumping these sweet sweet tunes, let’s hit up Sweden!

Comet: Are we dropping of our gifts with Tomte, the Christmas Gnome, again?

Cupid: Yep, same thing every year.

Narrator One: The group lands on a snowy hilltop in Sweden, and they see a cute little gnome named Tomte. Tomte was dressed in brown shoes that curled into a twist beyond his toes, red and white striped stockings, and a long green coat lined with white fur. He looked wonderful and very Christmas-like.

Tomte: It’s so nice to see you merry lads and lasses. God Jul!!!

Santa: Did you ask the kids in Sweden to leave you porridge again?

Tomte: Yeah, of course I did. I still don’t get why you’d rather have cookies! They’re way less healthy. As you know, we gnomes are a health-conscious bunch. We eat to live in good health, while others live to eat an unhealthy diet.

Vixen: I confess, it’s not totally Santa’s fault…. Santa keeps asking us if he can change it to porridge, but we reindeer won’t have it; we like the cookies, too!

Tomte: You guys should really be watching your diet. You only get one body, so it’s wise to take care of it. The world relies on you all to bring good cheer on Christmas, so I hope you’ll think about my advice over the next year. I wish you all well, and am of to deliver these presents. God Jul!!!

Scene Three: Narrator Two: Some storm clouds started to gather as the group made their way from Sweden to Germa- ny. Donner looked to Dancer and exclaimed, “Look’s like it’s rain, deer!” Dancer looked at Donner with a deadpan stare and said, “Stop being a pain, dear."

Santa: Let’s head to the German countryside and drop of our gifts for Christkind.

Blitzen: Oh, he's delivering for us again?

Cupid: Yep, same thing every year. 7 www.numberock.com Rudolph: That’s right! He’s the Christmas angel in Germany, and all the children leave lists of gifts they wish to receive on the window sills for Christkind. (Turning around and seeing Christkind) Hey, well look who’s here!!

Christkind: Hi, Santa! Hey, reindeer dudes! Thanks for dropping of these gifts; I’ve got a busy night of stufng stockings, so I can’t stay long, but it’s great to see you all again! Frohliche Weihnachten!

Narrator Three: Rudolph had no idea that 'Frohliche Weihnachten’ meant “Merry Christmas” in German, so he told Christkind to stop speaking gibberish. Christkind replied, “Now I know why your name is Rude-olf!”

Santa: Now Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and Rudolph, let’s go to France!

Dasher: Hey Santa, Did I hear last year you put the toys in people shoes?

Cupid: Yep, same thing every year.

Dancer: That’s the tradition in France, and they say, "Joyeux Noel!”

Narrator One: The group stopped in southern France for a hot chocolate. Blitzen asked Santa why he added Rudolph to the team - the 9th reindeer. Santa simply replied, “I wanted some extra doe.”

Scene Four: Santa: We need to make a quick stop in Italy to drop of these presents for Befana.

Prancer: That old lady who flls the stockings with toys and candy?

Santa: Yep!

Cupid: Yep, same thing every year.

Befana: Hey, , long time no see! Buon Natale! Have you lost some weight? I have too, thanks to this vegetarian diet I’ve been on.

Blitzen: Me too! I’m a vegetarian too!

Comet: Mrs. Claus isn’t letting him eat gluten.

Vixen: She doesn’t let him eat processed sugar either.

Befana: Oh yeah! That’ll do it!

8 www.numberock.com Narrator Two: Cupid was wondering why the group wasn’t going to Poland this year, and when he asked Santa, Santa replied, “I’ll bring the presents when I visit my parents tomorrow… after all, I’m North Polish!"

Santa: Now, on to Vietnam!

Donner : But why are we going to Vietnam? Is Christmas even an ofcial holiday there?

Blitzen: No, it’s not. But they do celebrate Christmas by lighting up the streets and throwing confetti, and instead of Merry Christmas they say, "Giang Sinh Vui Ve!”

Rudolph: Guys, can we go home soon? My nose is so red from this cold air that I don’t think it’ll ever go back to normal again!

Santa: Alright! Back to the North Pole… and guys, please don’t tell Mrs. Claus about all those cookies…

Cupid: I’ve heard that before!! …..and you guys think I repeat myself!!

Narrator Three: The group made it back home, at which point Donner exclaimed, “Wow, time really few tonight!” Santa replied, “Sure did, my Tesla Model S electric sleigh came equipped with a Rolex clock."
