CiderWorld’20 Award

The CiderWorld Award is organized in cooperation with the Universtity of Applied Sciences Geisenheim. Submitted samples are analyzed in the laboratory of Universtity of Applied Sciences Geisenheim and tasted by an international expert jury. This goes hand in hand with an independent and precise expertise, which can be best used for the marketing of products.

Die CiderWorld’20 Awards and the CiderWorld Medal 2020 will be awarded the first day of CiderWorld’20 Frankfurter Apfelweinmesse.

CiderWorld’20 Award

Criteria

The evaluation criteria and categories are determined by the international jury. In doing so, country-specific characteristics of the products are discussed.

The sensory examination is evaluated according to the CiderWorld 120-points scheme. 109 - 120 points = gold 97 - 108 points = silver 80 - 96 points = honor

Terms of participation

• After registration and the fee paid, the producer will send 6 free bottles (75cl) - (9 btls à 0,50l or 12 btls à 0,33l) of each registered product for analysis, tasting and presentation during the preview until 31th January 2020 at the latest to Apfelwein International UG (haftungsbeschränkt) Krautgartenweg 1 60439 Frankfurt am Main Germany • The participant agrees that the achieved results and descriptions of the products may be published on the website and other publications of Apfelwein International UG. • Participation fee € 169,00 for the first submitted product, for each additional product € 119,00 (plus 19% VAT) • The participation fee includes: 1. Costs for the scientific analysis of Geisenheim University 2. Sensory evaluation by the independent, international jury 3. Expertise with analysis and sensory assessment of the jury (to be sent 04.
