At this event there will be published the last book of Mr. Gheorghiu trilogy “Chess Integral” and you will be able to shake hands with him and also receive an autograph. We wish this event to be more than a chess competition, we wish to transform it into a show of good quality chess and also to mark a moment of Romanian chess movement having between us the greatest Romanian player of all times, the man who beat Bobby Fisher, the man who was one of the best friends of greatest player in history – Bobby Fisher. You will find out many moments from their friendship, untold until now. So, this is a great occasion to meet a living legend and to learn more about chess history. In this respect, we will need You to be in the tournament location no later than 9.30, to be able to participate to the opening ceremony involving the great chess player – Florin Gheorghiu. The is the possibility of 2 bye-s in the first 4 rounds for each tournament – this can be operating at the player’s request. All players will receive participation diplomas. Players from B, C and D tournaments will receive chess game notebook and pen and the E and F Tournament participants will receive chess combinations notebooks for working at home.
