Bilag 3 2. INDLEDNING Baggrund Regeringen og Københavns Kommune indgik den 5. oktober 2018 en principaftale om at anlægge en ny stor opfyldning på søterritoriet i Københavns Havn, kaldet Lynetteholm. Der er fire formål med at etablere Lynetteholm: • Bidrage til klimasikring Lynetteholm vil være et væsentligt element i klimasikringen af København og bidrage til at sikre mod stormflod og havspejlstigning. • Areal til byudvikling Lynetteholm mindsker presset på eksisterende by i forhold til befolkningsudvikling, prisstigninger og fortætning. • Behov for bæredygtig disponering af overskudsjord Lynetteholm etableres med overskudsjord og giver dermed Københavns Kommune sikkerhed for at bygge- og anlægsprojekter i Storkøbenhavn kan komme af med såvel ren som forurenet overskudsjord til nyttiggørelse tæt på oprindelsesstedet og i en meget lang periode. • Udbygning af og bidrag til infrastruktur Indtægterne fra byudviklingen af Lynetteholm vil kunne bidrage til at finansiere overordnet kollektiv infrastruktur med henblik på metrobetjening af området og etableringen af Østlig Ringvej. Det projekt, som miljøvurderes i denne miljøkonsekvensrapport er: • Konstruktion af øens afgrænsning (perimeter) • Opfyldning af området med forurenet og ren jord Der hvor Lynetteholm ønskes etableret, er havbunden blød. For at give halvøens perimeter tilstrækkelig stabilitet er det nødvendigt at fjerne den bløde havbund og erstatte dette med marint sand. Den mest forurenede del af det opgravede havbundsmateriale bliver deponeret i det eksisterende havneslamsdepot på Refshaleøen. Den rene og lettere forurenede del af havbundsmaterialerne skal klappes på to klappladser i Køge Bugt. At materialerne bliver klappet vil sige, at de bortskaffes på havet i afgrænsede og kendte områder. Miljøvurdering af klapningen foregår i en parallel proces Det samme gør sig gældende for indvinding af marint sand, som skal bruges til konstruktion af Lynetteholms afgrænsning (perimeter). -

Construction of such structures involves utilizing unique construction methods due to various characteristics like structural system, cost, constructability, resources and time. This paper covers different methods of short-span bridge construction by concentrating on different construction methods of every type of short-span bridges. Moreover, a comparative analysis is provided to show when to use every method of construction according to the conditions available. Two projects involving short-span bridges with different sizes and project conditions were studied and examined against the developed selection criteria in order to evaluate the validity of the applied construction methods in each case. Keywords: Short-span Bridges; Construction Engineering; Bridge Engineering 1 INTRODUCTION. A bridge is a type of structure that carries a road, path or railway across a certain gap or obstacle such as roads or rivers. Bridges appeared with the rise of ancient civilizations. In its earliest forms, the bridge was pieces of wood cut out of logs to cross a gap. The design and construction of bridges was revolutionized in Ancient Rome upon the discovery of the use of mortar, which allowed for the execution of stronger and longer bridges. Today the design and construction of bridges has improved and evolved to be safer, more economic, easier to construct, more durable and esthetically more pleasing. -

This report principally summarizes long-legged wading bird, cormorant, and gull nesting activity observed on selected harbor islands, and also includes surveys of selected mainland sites and aids to navigation. Seven species of long-legged wading birds were observed nesting on eight of fifteen islands surveyed, on Governors Island, and at several mainland sites, while one additional species was confirmed as nesting exclusively at a mainland site. Surveyed wading bird species, hereafter collectively referred to as waders, included (in order of decreasing abundance) Black-crowned Night-Heron, Great Egret, Snowy Egret, Glossy Ibis, Yellow-crowned Night-Heron, Little Blue Heron, Tricolored Heron, and Great Blue Heron. -

MTB [MILITARY TRAINING BASE] A PROJECT BY SUZANNE TREISTER FOR ALMA ENTERPRISES 2009 MTB consists of designs and ideas for a military training base of the future. Such facilities generally house military equipment and personnel, and are the sites of training and operations. Bases are usually extra-legal jurisdictions not subject to civil law. They can range from small outposts to military cities and may belong to a different nation or state than the surrounding territory. MTB draws in part on the methodology of the role playing simulated architectural/landscaped war zone as a military training ground, eg. the Mojave Viper Training Program located in the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, CA, USA, where simulations of Iraq and Afghanistan are built to resemble the originals. MTB also references the idealistic theories and proposals for non-lethal warfare of Jim Channon and the 'First Earth Battalion'. Channon's book of the same name was self- published in 1979 in California. Channon is a Vietnam veteran who has worked as a futurologist and educational technologist for the U.S. Army, however some of his proposals have been perverted by the military, for example his ideas to utilise music to create positive vibrations were instead developed into a psychological weapon of torture. MTB draws together a web of histories and projections for the future, suggesting hypothetical scenarios for alternative military training.
