Le Kempferhof Golf et Château-Hôtel is located 15 minutes from Stras- bourg in the beautiful Alsace region of France and stretches across 85 hectares of tranquil, natural woodland. The Kempferhof is listed as one of the top 5 golf courses in France, as well as one of the 15 best courses in continental Europe by the Rolex World’s Top 1000 Golf Courses guide. The 18-hole course was designed by the American ar- chitect Robert von Hagge and opened in 1990. Hundred-year-old oaks, poplars and beech trees line the beautiful and challenging course, which features 13 water hazards, undulating fairways, large bunkers and imma- culate greens. As you reach the 18th hole, you will see enchanting views of the Château-Hôtel, which was built in 1865 by Jean de Dartein, who was inspired by Gaudi’s style, as well as the 19th century hunting lodge, which now serves as the clubhouse. Test every aspect of your game with this top-quality golf course, while enjoying the peace of nature!

Golf Club St. Leon-Rot

The Golf Club St. Leon-Rot, which opened in 1997, is situated near Heidel- berg and sets a benchmark for golf clubs. The complex, masterminded by the founder Dietmar Hopp, boasts two 18-hole championship courses, a 9-hole executive course and a children’s course. The English golf course architect Dave Thomas designed the St. Leon course as a links-style course, reminiscent of Scottish or Irish golf courses. The course became famous in 2002 when the world’s number one player Tiger Woods won his third Deutsche Bank SAP Open there. The Rot course was designed by architect Hannes Schreiner, who retained much of the original river wet- land, ensuring that the course offers not only charming scenery but also presents special challenges. The island green of the Rot course and the island fairway of the St. Leon course are the signature holes of the club. The St. Leon-Rot Golf Club is one of the “Leading Golf Courses in Ger- many” as well as one of the “European Tour Destinations” (since 2012).

Jakobsberg Golf Resort

Set high above the Lorelei valley in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley between Koblenz and Mainz, deservedly a UNESCO World Heritage Region, the Jakobsberg Golf Resort boasts a truly majestic setting. The golf course is nestled between forests and vineyards, situated on the Jakobsberg in Boppard. The 18-hole golf course was established in 1990 and opened in 1994. It was built by Wolfgang Jarsombek, who based his design on a model by the renowned American golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. The course serves as a 3rd level tour venue and has hosted several German PGA events. The strongly modelled fairways each feature four different teeing grounds, as well as large bunkers, a good number of water hazards and undulating greens. The course is sporting but fair and you may find that your greatest golfing challenge at the Jakobsberg Golf Resort will be not to get distracted by the spectacular natural surroun- dings and the panoramic views of the legendary Lorelei valley, Marksburg castle and the Westerwald and Hunsrück hills.

Gut Lärchenhof Golf Club

Despite its central location near Cologne and Düsseldorf, Gut Lärchenhof Golf Club is an oasis of calm and natural beauty, idyllically set in the heart of the Rhineland. The signature 18-hole Stadium Course was designed by legendary golfer and architect Jack Nicklaus, who designed more than 300 golf courses worldwide. The guiding principle behind his de- sign is: "A good shot should not be punished." Consequently, the course is demanding but always fair, rewarding intelligent and precise play. The course features its most challenging sections in the final stages of both the first nine and the back nine holes. The fairways have been individually modelled and the varied, hilly terrain requires a precise game. Fontana Golf Club

Fontana Golf Club’s championship course promises an unforgettable golfing experience. Situated about 30 kilometers south of Vienna, the golf course is set in a lush natural setting and offers a view of the Schneeberg, the highest moun- tain in Lower Austria, and the foothills of the Viennese Forest. Conceptualized by the well-known Canadian architect Doug Carrick, the layout and design of the golf course provides players with a top-class, international golfing expe- rience that is both challenging and fair. The course opened for play in 1996 and, from 2006 to 2009, hosted the European Tour in Austria and has since been considered one of the best golfing locations in Austria and Europe. Due to constant improvements and renovation, the Fontana course is expected to become one of the top 10 golf courses in Europe. The exciting 18-hole course will challenge players with its numerous bunkers and water hazards, combined with some easier holes to give a satisfying, well-rounded experience. © Moritz Richard Münkner

Quellness Golf Resort/Beckenbauer Golf Course

Picturesquely situated in the peaceful Bavarian countryside, the Quellness Golf Resort features the distinguished, 18-hectar Beckenbauer Golf Course, a championship course designed by renowned golfer Bernhard Lange. This exclusive course is one of the select few to host PGA European Tour events, specifically the Challenge Tour, which was held here from 2013 to 2015. In addition, in 2015 and 2016, the Beckenbauer Golf Course hosted the Porsche European Open, and in 2017, it was the venue for the Paul Lawrie Matchplay. The course has been praised by some of the world’s foremost players for its technical challenges as well as its impeccable condition. The flat but varied terrain incorporates a multitude of water hazards, such as streams, flood plains, and lakes, and requires golfers to play a precise game. Golf Hôtel de Saint-Saëns

The Golf Hôtel de Saint-Saëns is situated between Rouen and Dieppe, bordering the Eawy Forest – the largest beechwood forest in France. De- signed by architect Denis Robinson, the first five holes of the golf course opened in 1988.The course opened fully in 1989 and has hosted various European championships. The 71-par woodland golf course stretches over 6009 meters and is considered one of the most picturesque courses in Normandy, providing not only a charming setting but also a challenging course with plenty of variety for players, as it is composed of three distinct sections, each of which presents its own unique challenges. From hole 1 to hole 5, the Varenne River flows along the greens and fairways. The next section, up to hole ten, is characterized by a lovely beech and oak forest. Finally, on the other side of the forest, the course opens onto a plateau, with spectacular views of the Normandy countryside and the club house, which is housed in the charming 19th century manor, “Le Vaudichon”.

Golf d’Étretat

Set above the cliffs of Étretat with a spectacular view of the English Chan- nel, the magnificent, wave-cut arches of the famous cliffs and the charming village below, the Étretat Golf Club is considered one of the three best French seaside golf courses. The club, which is over 100 years old, was founded in 1908 by Englishmen. The first president was Bernard Forbes, 8th Earl of Granard. The original 13-hole course was designed by Julien Chantepie and Arnaud Massy (the only Frenchman to have won the Open). The club closed during WWII, but reopened in 1949, after the landmines had been cleared out. Didier Fruchet revised the layout in the 1990s and today the resort extends over 6,000 meters. The 18-hole course will test every facet of players’ games, particularly with the exciting sequence of holes at the back nine, between the 10th and the 14th, where the fairways run along the cliff edge.

Du Vaudreuil Golf Club

The du Vaudreuil Golf Club is situated in a picturesque area with a rich history stretching back to prehistoric times. This countryside was a destination much favored by kings of France, due to its exceptional location in the Seine loop in Normandy. Much later, the Marquis Marc de la Haye bought the 90 hectares that make up the golf course today and commissioned renowned English golf architect Fred Hawtree to design the course, which opened in 1962. It has been modernized to suit present-day playing requirements by his son, Martin. The clubhouse, considered one of the most beautiful in France, is a 17th century barn originally located in the village, which was dismantled and reassembled on the estate. In 2008, Jean-Claude Forestier became the new owner of the club and is responsible for its current excellence, including its classification as a PGA venue.
