Support local journalism Numbers duplicated in the state’s coronavirus database led to inaccurate statistics on new San Bernardino County cases and deaths being reported Wednesday, July 29, a county spokeswoman said Thursday, July 30. On Wednesday, the county reported 24 additional deaths, 2,347 new cases and 8,044 more people tested — all of which would have been records.
