Despite all the progress the world has witnessed, there are still over 100 Million children being left behind. We were co-founded by Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, the children rights activist who has worked tirelessly for the rights of children and young people for almost four decades.

He has been at the forefront of global movements to end child slavery, child labour and for the right to education, and in December 2016 launched his most ambitious campaign to date: the 100 Million campaign.

After inspiring more people to get involved with your group, it’s a good idea to sustain their interest by inviting them to take part in an action as soon as possible. Physically demonstrating your demands is not only a powerful way to show decision- makers how much you believe in change, and also a fun and engaging way to keep the energy alive for your members. Each month we will send ideas for creative actions on different issues, and for your first one we suggest creating a Freedom Chain.

WHAT IS A FREEDOM CHAIN? A Freedom Chain is a symbol of international togetherness that demonstrates solidarity with those denied their rights across the world. It also binds together our demand for change and commitment to action.
