Our Sunday services resume tomorrow in church;
At All Saints', LYDD there will be a service of Morning Worship at 10.30am
At St Peter's, GREATSTONE there will be a service of Holy Communion at 10.30am

Our Thursday morning BCP Holy Communions take place each week at 9.30am in All Saints'. All are welcome.

! I hope you have enjoyed the sunshine and the warmth of this (brief) change of weather. Melanie and I spent a few days on the South Coast - it was a de- light! It is beginning to feel more normal a li le more each week - but we must re- main cau ous and all social distancing measures must con nue in place.

Lydd Methodist Church is not yet cleared for opening but the circuit has opened 6 churches for Sunday worship, the nearest of which is Hamstreet or Hythe. Work to progress the opening of other churches is in hand Lydd Methodist Church is ge ng close to comple ng the Covid 19 require- ments to reopen but as yet permission has not been received. When permis- sion is granted we will post a no ce on our Church no ce board and perhaps in the local press

All Saints’ welcomes visitors of all kinds and people passing through. What is not so welcome is the increase in owners who fail to clear up dog excreta, which fouls the churchyard and graves of past Lydd inhabitants.

17 Romney Marsh Community Church The main thing that has changed is how Foodbank is going to operate. From the 19th January we are going to be just doing deliveries, so NO service will be opera ng from the Centre. To get a delivery clients are to call Debbie on 07913573403 before 11pm Tues to get an order from New Romney and 11pm to get a delivery from Lydd. Or- ders will be fulfilled on those day's in the a ernoon only. Clients are asked to let volunteers to deliver at the door and to make sure they keep their dis- tance and wear masks when receiving order. This is to keep all safe. People wan ng to give dona ons can s ll leave them at the Centre, but please call the office first. 01797 366855

Our car parks, nature trails and toilets will remain open throughout the lockdown period. Green spaces are incredi- bly important for mental health and are a fantastic place for daily exer- cise. We will keep a staffed presence on site to keep on top of any safety issues or antisocial behaviour, but we will not be carrying out the GREAT Welcome during lockdown.
We will be highlighting the ‘stay local’ message on our website and so- cial media, and encouraging our visitors to only visit their local reserve or green space.
