The Community United Methodist Church of DeBary and the Orange City Orchestra have scheduled another concert which is in a series of concerts. The free, community-wide concert is scheduled for Saturday, June 30 at 7 p.m.. The Orange City Orchestra consists of approximately 33 musicians who are, in most cases, retired professional perform- ers, some current music students and area music teachers. It is an excellent symphony orchestra that has existed over here in Volusia for over 10 years. Rick Dwyer, is the conductor and organized the orchestra and leads every Friday night prac- tices and their concerts. CUMC/DeBary has now scheduled and presented about approximately 7 free community-wide concerts, one in the summer and a Christmas concert. We have from 175 to 220 in attendance. These concerts consist of the largest crowd of it's type in the DeBary, Orange City and Deltona areas. We have a free social from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. before the concerts and offer desserts and beverages. The concert will be held at Community United Methodist Church of DeBary located at 41 W.
