Ryan Michaels - UK ARTIST ATTRACTS INTERNATIONAL AUDIENCE

Ryan Michaels continues winning over broadcasters overseas with his unique style of song writing and catchy melodies. Brazil and now Argentina are new countries in 2018 keen to playlist songs CHRISTINE, STAR GIRL and STYLISH ONE. "Right now my songs have travelled further than I ever have!" jokes Ryan. Ryan's music continues impressing Radio Stations in America, Australia, Mexico, France, Ireland and the UK. Ryan was interviewed by UK Broadcaster Sue Ellison on Halton Community Radio about his music, this interview gave Ryan an opportunity to thank all the broadcasters for their unwavering support of his records.

STAR GIRL is the new record from London born Artist Ryan Michaels. The song tells of an alien rockstar who captures the imagination of a young fan on earth. Ryan's imaginative lyrics and catchy hooks have not only impressed UK broadcasters but the song has also won over broadcasters overseas in Australia and Canada and parts of Europe. Ed Moss from Radio JCom in Leeds was one of the first to realise the songs potential and writes:

" Love it! Reminds me from my youth of a mixture of Edgar Winter, Foghat, Gentle Giant from the 70’s but with a real 2016 spin. It has a great sense of get up and go. Happy to play and wishing you nothing but future success. Our screaming diva and X-Factor addled ears need you!"

After this glowing appraisal STAR GIRL record was championed by other UK Radio stations. Ryan knew that without a record deal it would be almost impossible to get his song heard on commercial radio, regardless of how good the track was. "Public Radio is a musical lifeline for Bands and Solo Artists as it doesn't have a problem supporting new music but they get swamped with cds and mp3's just like commercial radio. Competition is fierce so you've gotta step up strong with your music”, Ryan explains. Then Ryan decided to send STAR GIRL to Australian radio stations and his efforts were rewarded.

Australian broadcasters were more than happy to support this innovative Artist and some asked if he could send them more songs. Radio stations in Canada were also impressed with STAR GIRL single.

Broadcasters have not only praised Ryan's music but also is tenacity for chasing excellence against a background of adversities. It's not something Ryan is keen to dwell on but an accident a few years ago left him unable to walk for over a year but thanks to the brilliant work of his surgeon his mobility improved. Ryan's desire to pursue his life in a positive direction is understandable. Ryan will be sending STAR GIRL record out to UK record companies but also plans to continue sending STAR GIRL out to Public Radio in Europe followed by America and China.
