Join Austin Free-Net staff in our inaugural Drive for Drives Charity Golf Tournament o n June 18 in Lakeway, Texas and let your inner Jack Nicklaus or Cristie Kerr out to play! ______Twenty-five teams of four will have a great time during our first fundraising event of the 2012 year as they hit the links in a shotgun start, best-ball Administrative scramble at The Hills of Lakeway Country Club Yaupon Golf Course. Professionals' Day

Designed by Leon Howard, Yaupon has some of the most mature landscaping in Texas golf and certainly offers one of Lakeway’s most panoramic views of the Hill Country. But, don’t be fooled by the sweeping beauty, Yaupon was designed with strategically placed doglegs, trees and hazards (44 sand traps alone) making selecting the perfect club essential for our more serious golfers and a hoot for our hit-and-gigglers. Register online at $125 per player and $75 tag- along (a non-player who wishes to follow a particular team in a golf cart). Mulligans will be available for purchase for $5 with a maximum of five per team. Tournament registration includes a 2-person golf cart, a gift bag, plus a “19th Hole” luncheon, Wii Lounge and trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Beverages will be available for purchase from the roaming Beverage Carts during play.
