It therefore seemed a wonderful idea of David Steele’s to pay tribute to How I Know You Rosemary’s work by creating a new work inspired by one Direction: Hannes Langolf of her pieces – Still-Slow-Divided (2002). It felt an Choreography: Hannes Langolf with the cast important way of honouring her work but also a method Cast: Heather Birley, Anna Britton, of providing students with the opportunity to experience Lewis Cooke, Daniel De Luca, the sort of journey her process might follow. Dennis Rhys, Bethany Edwards, The piece being presented is very much a re-invention Robert Hemming, Riley Hogg, rather than a recreation of Still-Slow-Divided, using many Maroula Iliopoulou, of the tasks, initiations and edited sound score from the Francis Maskens, original, whilst allowing the students to develop their own Chante Mcdonald, materials to form a new work entitled Frames for Falling. How can we find ourselves inside of a film? How can we experience the space of sound? How I Know You is inspired by conversations about Sound landscape/cinematographic journey inspired by: identity and how we are read by other people. We looked the soundtrack of Quentin at small acts of inner revolution and the fragile courage Tarantino's movies ‘Kill Bill vol.1’ to embrace personal change as an opportunity for self- and ‘Kill Bill vol. 2’. celebration.
