New control system for BOB-M

Hauni is offering an upgrade to the BOB-M bobbin changer as TIP L MH 150. This incorporates the latest version of a Beckhoff control system with extensive options for meeting special customer requests. The upgrade contains the Hauni VISU+, which simplifies operation of the BOB-M. State-of-the-art technology is applied to reduce future difficul- ties in obtaining spare parts. In addition, the new guard system meets the highest safety standards. In summary, this TIP guarantees an improved performance for faster bobbin discharges and charging operations.

Tobacco reclaiming unit

As part of the process, loose tobacco is fed into the pro duction waste along with other products whenever the machine is started and stopped. Conventional recovery during the process is difficult and time-consuming – which is why Hauni has now developed a waste separation unit with automated refeeding for the PROTOS M generation. Available as TIP C SE 577, it reduces the operator’s workload, separates tobacco from other waste, prevents additional tobacco degradation and returns tobacco Exhibition at Decouflé in Paris directly to the machine in metered quantities.
