Introduction to Reddit - A different type of social media Tuesday, February 25 from 3-4 PM in the Mezzanine Meeting Room Seating is limited, stop by the Information Desk, call 447-1690 to register. Reddit is a different kind of social media platform where you can share your interests, find like-minded people, find new hobbies and ideas, or just find a laugh. Because it is a way to connect with people in a more anonymous platform, Reddit is sometimes referred to as an al- ternative to traditional social media. In this class, we will casually browse what Reddit has to offer, including the Helena-specific subreddit, as well as some online book groups, and, of course, lots of cats. Bring your own device to class (phone, tablet, laptop) or you can use one of the library computers provided, and be ready to explore your interests in a whole new way.
