3 Magdalen Catholic School Kids Rule the School: Principal and Vice Principal for One Day Two Winners of the Artesia live auction item, “Principal and Vice Principal for One Day”, gladly ful#lled their duties. Emma Bezdek (6th grade) served as Principal with Gracie Bezdek (1st grade) as Vice Principal April 27th, followed by Samantha Silverstein (5th grade) as Principal and Sam Bezdek (4th grade) as Vice Principal May 4th. These students changed the rules a bit with a free dress day for students. Mrs. Schmitz had to wear a Magdalen uniform, and Mr. Barr adorned a Justin “Beleiber” shirt. They traveled by limousine to Red Robin for lunch and shadowed Mrs. Schmitz and Mr. Barr for the day. Sundaes and Songs On Thursday, May 5, Magdalen students of all ages shared their intermission.
