ONLINE CONFERENCES PORTUGUESE GROUP ANALYTIC SOCIETY (SPGPAG)
The Portuguese Group Analytic Society Online Conferences 2020 are our response to the enormous challenges of our times and the constraints of a worldwide pandemic, which affects all Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists, in particular Group Analysts. Prevented from holding an Annual Congress in person, we decided host of two online Conferences. Our purpose is to discuss the widest range of concerns and doubts, and to answer questions that arise within Group Therapists, in particular Group Analysts. Thus, we invited two proeminent researchers in their fields: group analysis and neuro- psychoanalysis.
The first SPGPAG Online Conference will take place on November 21st, 2020, with a lecture by Professor Earl Hopper, who will offer us a deep reflection on the unconscious forces of the group witch affected nations, scientific organizations and also, at another level, our clinical practice, with the title: "Identity and its vicissitudes in the time of pandemic as social trauma?”
The second SPGPAG Online Conference will be held on November 28, 2020, with a lecture by Professor Mark L. Solms, who will present his longlife work through his latest reflections and proposals for a new approach to psychoanalytic theory and practice under the title: "Implications of Neuropsychoanalysis in clinical practice”.

Editor and Translator of the forthcoming Revised Standard Edition of the Complete Psychological Works of Sigmund Freud (24 Vols.) and Complete Neuroscientific Works of Sigmund Freud (4 Vols.).
