Christmas tree festival We are delighted to announce that following the success of last year whereby we raised over £1000 to support community events at Salem, we shall be holding our 2nd Christ- mas Tree festival in December this year. Trees will be put up on Friday 1st December (times to be arranged) and then the chapel will be open for the public to view the community trees and enjoy light refreshments on: Saturday 2nd December 10.30 – 3.00pm Sunday 3rd December 12.00 – 3.00pm Entry 50p per person on both days We shall also be hosting our Christmas Tree Festival Concert on Saturday 9th December at 7.00pm with our guest choir ‘Con Voce’ from Merthyr Tydfil and the choirs of our local primary schools. Please don’t forget that we exist to serve the community. In the chapel, you can visit the prayer corner and write down a prayer for someone, or light a candle. We have a photocopier and printer which you are wel- come to use – please ask a group leader for the code. The charge is 10p a copy for black and white, 30p for colour. And Rosa can also pro- vide help and foodbank vouchers to anyone in need.
