GUENTZ-GOAL Jake Guentzel broke the scoreless tie on Saturday night in Buffalo with his second-period power-play goal, giving him goals in three-consecutive games. The goal stood as the game winner and he also finished with a career-high eight shots on net. Guetnzel’s three-game goal scoring streak is a season long, and he enters tonight’s game looking for his first four-game goal scoring streak since Nov. 22-29, 2019 (5G-3A).

Guentzel has been one of Pittsburgh’s most consistent performers this season as he ranks in the top three on Pittsburgh with 10 goals (T-1st), 14 assists (T-3rd) and 24 points (2nd).
