(TIMONIUM, MD) – The wildly beloved musical comedy group Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots and one of ’s brightest new stars Jana Kramer will perform live during the 2016 unFAIRgettable My Maryland State Fair Concert Series presented by M&T Bank on Sunday, September 4, in the Maryland State Fairgrounds Infield. Gate opens: 7 p.m.; Show begins at 8 p.m. The concert is part of the Fair’s 135th anniversary celebration, August 25-September 5.

Tickets on sale now at www.marylandstatefair.com. A limited number of Pit Tickets are available for $50 each, and General Admission festival standing tickets for $40 each; ticket prices include fair gate admission, but not parking. “It’s the kind of concert where everyone will want to stand and dance to the music, which is why we don’t sell reserved tickets,” said Maryland State Fair General Manager Andy Cashman.

Iheart radio’s Bobby Bones, the award-winning nationally syndicated country radio host and his band The Raging Idiots kicked off 2016 in a major way. Their first full length adult-targeted album, The Critics Give it 5 Stars, was released with collaborations by Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Garth Brooks and other country stars.

Iheart radio’s Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots began as great friends playing silly tunes on local television, radio, and random stages and has snowballed into a wildly beloved musical comedy group. Their unique ability to mix tongue-tripping word play along with lively storytelling is on full display. Their six track digital EP The Raging Idiots Presents: The Raging Kidiots features the anthemic head-bobbing sing-along “When I Grow Up,” which dares kids to dream big.

Jana Kramer’s platinum debut, “,” rocketed to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in 2012 making her the most played new country artist of that year. Her self-titled debut album hit No. 5. In addition, she was named 2013 Academy of Country Music Top New Female Artist.
