Assembling Your Sperrverband
Assembling your Sperrverband PLATOON DIAGRAMS Each platoon diagram indicates the required squads and teams you must have to make that unit combat-worthy. Troops in black are the core of the unit. Troops in grey are optional supporting weapons and vehicles that you can add to give them more punch or mobility. Many platoons also include options allow you to improve the equipment or capabilities of some of the teams. The platoon entry will also list the special rules that the platoon follows. The selection of figures included in this box represent the battle-hardened Sperrverband and therefore do not have the full range of personal gear that a soldier fresh from re-supply would have. To represent the increased numbers of NCO’s these veteran units may have had you will notice that we have suggested that some of the NCO figures can also be used as Riflemen, in the diagrams below. AU that was necessary at the time of his death was to mount the photographs and complete the editorial work of pulling the book together for publication. The third volume contains additional data for many makes and models for which data on other specimens were given in Volume I. Also, much previously unavailable data on rifles is presented along with data for many handguns not before encountered . Photographs of many previously unphotographed handguns have been included as well as photographs of guns in partially disassembled condition giving a better view of their constructi on and operation. In PART I of Volume Ill , tables are prese nted on rifling characteristics of automatic pistols, revolvers and nonautomatic pistols and rifles. As an aid to identification, material has been organized into tables, arranged by caliber, number of grooves and directi on of twist. Since, as the author pointed out, the firearms examiner may often be concerned with arms of older vintage , there is an extensive discussion in PART II of less well known American made hand guns fr om the peri od 1850 to 19 10. In Section 1 o f PART III are found original pho tographs of automatic pistols, arranged by caliber. -

The largest of these, the Warsaw Ghetto, concentrated approximately 300,000–400,000 people into a densely packed, 3.3 km2 central area of Warsaw. Approximately 250,000–300,000 ghetto residents met their deaths at Treblinka during the two-month-long operation in 1942, another thousands in Warsaw Ghetto Uprising in 1943. On 1 August 1944, The Warsaw Uprising began as part of a nationwide Operation Tempest, launched at the time of the Soviet Lublin–Brest Offensive. Our objectives were to drive the Germans out of Warsaw while helping the Allies defeat Germany. The uprising was timed to coincide with the retreat of the German forces from Poland ahead of the Soviet advance. While approaching the eastern suburbs of the city, the Red Army temporarily halted combat operations, enabling the Germans to regroup. Initially, we established control over most of central Warsaw, but the Soviets ignored our attempts to maintain radio contact with them and did not advance beyond the city limits. Intense street fighting between us and the Germans continued. By 14 September, the eastern bank of the Vistula River opposite our positions was taken over by the Polish troops fighting under the Soviet command. 1,200 men made it across the river, but they were not reinforced by the Red Army. -

Twilight 2000
TWILIGHT 2000 Twilight 2000 is a Role playing game set in a fictional future, one where World war 3 began in the late 1990's and eventually slipped into a nuclear exchange changing society as we know it. The players assume the roles of survivors trying to live through the aftermath of the war. Twilight 2000 was published in the mid 1980's by Game Designers Workshop who unfortunately closed their doors in the early 1990's. The copyright was purchased by Tantalus, Inc but there are no stated plans to revive the game. Despite the lack of any new material from a publisher the game continues to expand through the players on websites such as this. This is my contribution to the game, this site will be in a constant state of change, I plan to add material as I get it finished. This will include new equipment, optional rules, alternate game backgrounds and other material as it accumulates, currently I am working on source material for a World war 2 background, but I also have been completing some optional rules of my own as well as modern equipment. For other perspectives on Twilight 2000 visit the links listed at the bottom of this page. It consisted of a small, disposable preloaded launch tube firing a high explosive anti-tank warhead, and was operated by a single soldier. The Panzerfaust was in service from 1942 until the end of the war.
