WDC Notices Invitation for a Proposal for Provision of Services District Council seeks proposals for the provision of a range of animal control services. Council’s statutory responsibilities in respect of animal control services are specified in the following statutes: • Dog Control Act 1996 • Impounding Act 1955 • Animal Welfare Act 1999 The invitation seeks proposals for the delivery of a range of services to implement some of the provisions of the following: 1. WDC’s Dog Control Bylaw and Dog Control Policy 2. Animal and stock impounding services; and 3.
