Specificity Mouse anti Human CCT epsilon antibody, clone 4E5-4B1 recognizes human T-complex protein 1 subunit epsilon, also known as CCT epsilon (CCTε) or TCP1 epsilon. CCT epsilon is a 540 amino acid ~60 kDa cytoplasmic molecular chaperone involved in protein folding

Mutations in the CCT5 gene have been implicated in the development of Neuropathy, hereditary sensory, with spastic paraplegia, autosomal recessive (HSNSP), a disease demonstrating spastic paraplegia and distal sensory neuropathy (Bouhouche et al. 2006).

Storage Store at -20oC only. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
